Skoufa Gallery Mykonos is pleased to present Nikos Lagos’ latest work.
The exhibition will be on view from Saturday the 30th of August and will run until Monday, September the 7th 2020.
Nikos Lagos continues in his familiar artistic style. He draws inspiration from personal experiences, thoughts, associations, symbols, images, words, language games and patterns which playfully coexist on the canvas in a seemingly anarchic way. Miscellaneous micro-narratives compose a contemporary perspective of everyday life. Nothing is based on a logical explanation and everything is left in ambiguity. The new series of work are conceived as striking narratives of thoughts and notes that reveal the inner need for communication in the fragmentation of modern life.
