On Thursday May 5th 7.30 p.m. at Skoufa Gallery we inaugurate the painting exhibition by Manos Anastasiou.
In his works predominates the Greek Landscape giving emphasis to color and light . The artist prefers the Athenian urban landscape , he adores its historical center. The artist expresses the pragmatic dimension of space imprinting on canvas a deep, even metaphysical need to live and breath in it.
Manos Anastasiou was born in Plaka in 1971. Between 1990 and 1996 he studies at the Athens School of Fine Arts, at the workshop of P. Tetsis and R. Papaspirou. Since 1999 he is teacher of Secondary Education. From 1996 till nowadays he presents his work in group and individual exhibitions and its work is present in several important private collections. He keeps participating in art events and activities of the Cultural Center of Apiranthos, Naxos.
