« Summer in the City»

Skoufa Gallery happily presents its annual summer group show titled ‘Summer in the City’ which is a collaboration of well-known Greek and International artists. The exhibition will run until the 31st August 2023.
During periods of relaxation, art can be a pleasant escape for those who remain in the city. This exhibition becomes the starting point of an imaginary travel through a series of colorful and playful works of art.
Famous artists from the international art scene participate with artworks featuring pop personalities, super heroes or emblematic figures of the history of art. Humor, optical illusions
and toying with perspective, demand the viewer’s interpretation of each art piece.
The Greek artists on the other hand, are inspired by summer itself, the magical Greek landscapes and the sunny days. Nature is a source of idyllic places where one can wander and look back to happy summer memories.
The exhibition is completed by a group of sculptures made with different techniques and mediums, such as Jeff Koons’ porcelain ‘Balloon Animals’, George Hadoulis’ colorful ceramics, Leo Caillard’s marble busts and Henri Inglesis’ metal figures.
The artists who participate to the exhibition are: Barnabe, Jisbar, Patrick Rubinstein, Henri Inglesis, Leo Caillard, Maxim Wakultschik, Nektarios Aposporis, Tania Dimitrakopoulou, Yannis Kottis, George Hadoulis.
