The exhibition includes a group of artworks by artists from the Avant-guard (André Derain, Giorgio de Chirico, Otto Dix, Jean Fautrier and Francis Picabia) alongside artworks by artists from the late Modernism (Eduardo Arroyo & Andy Warhol) as well as Contemporary artists from the Berlin School (Peter Böhnisch, Davis Nicholson, Dimitris Tzamouranis, Thomas Virnich, René Wirths, Sandra Vásquez de la Horra and John Isaacs).

The 1920s is the starting point of this exhibition which covers a period of a century. The displayed artworks are examples of the work of artists who influenced Modern art, each in his own way, and show the development of the human representation up to our days.

All exhibits are anthropocentric: they focus on portraiture as a means of depicting the personality and revealing the emotions & the inner self of the sitter who is perceived differently by each artist.
