Art’s origin lie in the myth, although oblivion generates innovation, the study and use of old myths, symbols and beliefs are crucial for the invention of new ones.
In this exhibition contemporary Greek artists reinvent ancient symbols and myths, combine them with today’s popular culture, using sketching, drawing and collages in a playful modern way not just to please the wondering eye but also to provoke the mind of the viewer with myths, symbols and beliefs of our everyday reality.
