Skoufa Gallery Mykonos is proud to present the solo exhibition “POPular converging” by Patrick Rubinstein.

This exhibition aims to converge us again, in a safe way, through the playful kinetic pop artworks by Patrick Rubinstein. Get inspired by great personalities that transformed our societies the last hundred years, politicians, singers and movie stars but also scientists whose work has shaped our ever converging first civilization.
Patrick Rubinstein’s work is in line with ‘Op Art’ – Optical art, art in movement – while drawing inspiration from the techniques of Kinetic Art and pop art subject matters.
The results are striking: the image, fixed at first, is animated by the movements, creating a new aesthetic lecture. Patrick Rubinstein invites the viewer to immerse oneself in one’s memories. Let yourself be surprised by the astonishing dynamics of Rubinstein’s works.
